AU IRB Handbook

The IRB is registered with the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) and operates under a Federal Wide Assurance (FWA). The FWA insures that the University IRB policies and procedures abide by the guidelines established by the Report of the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research (The Belmont Report) and the OHRP Code of Federal Regulations "Protection of Human Research Subjects.”
